This is cool!
Hi @Norwegian wood !
Yes, you can connect the Split-Flap Text object to a Twitter handle to show the related tweets.
First, you need to connect Polypop to Twitter.
1. Click the + button on the Source Library Panel and select "Twitter" from the dropdown menu.
2.Authorized the connection to Polypoop.
3. Select the Twitter source in the Source Library Panel and type your desired Twitter account name (handle) in the User Name text line. This can be any Twitter account.
4. Connect the Twitter source to the Split-Flap Text object. In order to do so you need to make sure that your Twitter Source is selected in the Source Library Panel and your Split-Flap Text layer is selected in the Scene Layout panel. Now with your mouse pull a wire from the onNextTweet socket (located in the Twitter properties), and drag it to the Split-Flap Text socket (located in the Split-Flap Text properties).
5. Remember you can adjust the Tweet count and the Time Per Tweet in the Twitter properties.
